Finch and Fifth is an American restaurant located at the Surrey Center. It opened in December 2013 and serves great food, drinks and even BRUNCH! I wanted to finally see if the reality matches the hype.

The Breakdown
I love the vibe of this place as soon as I stepped out of my car. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. It feels like a place where you will go to meet up with your friends every week. Inside space was a little limited when I walked in so this may not be the place for a large group. It has traditional American food. I ordered the truffle burger with fries. It was great. The portion was huge. There wasn’t much fancy about the burger since I went without the blue cheese.
They were pretty busy when I was there and our server was able to handle it. She wasn’t the most attentive, but she never left us hanging. The place overall gave me a great first impression, but nothing, in particular, stood out they made me feel comfortable giving them a 5 out of 5.
How to get 5 stars
I really love this place so it was tough not giving them a perfect score. Their brunch is pretty famous, so I’m planning to go back soon to try and update this review. This place has everything that I’m personally looking for in an amazing restaurant.
